During my 21-year teaching journey, I have successfully completed over 2,200 hours of training, including Modo; Modo level II; Modo Flow; Baptiste power vinyasa, meditation and mindfulness, yin & restorative, pranayama, yoga Nidra, baby & me yoga, prenatal yoga and chair yoga. I also work with private MVA clients, introducing yoga as part of their rehabilitation program.

In 2015, I earned my advanced teaching certification from the Sivananda International Organization.  This particular training is very dear to my heart.  Throughout this month-long program, I significantly enhanced my spiritual practice and deepened my understanding through intensive yoga training and a comprehensive study of Raja Yoga and Vedanta. My commitment to pranayama was strengthened by engaging in advanced techniques introduced during the course. Upon successful completion of the immersion in sadhana and yogic studies, I received the Sivananda certification as Yoga Acharya, denoting Master of Yoga.  I was also given my Spiritual name, Jivani, which was channelled by Swami Swaroopananda, a senior disciple of Swami Vishnudevananda. I also fell in love with the beautiful practice of Kirtan and chanting.

I have taught yoga to youth in the London justice system, after being trained in trauma informed yoga by the New Leaf Yoga Foundation. I’m extremely passionate about teaching and practicing holistic healing modalities.

I co-owned/directed Modo (Moksha) yoga London and co-founded/directed Modo (Moksha) yoga London west and Modo (Moksha) yoga Brampton. I’ve had the pleasure of mentoring new teachers & studio owners, teaching classes, workshops and reiki trainings nationally and internationally. I am a Usui Reiki master and a qualified Thai Yoga Practitioner. I truly enjoy sharing my love of all things yoga, crystal singing bowls, healing sound baths, treatments and teaching a wonderful variety of meditation, pranayama & asana classes.

I have been teaching yoga since 2004 and hold E-RYT 500, YACEP & CYA-E-RYTGOLD designations.
