i help students slow down, breathe deeply, and feel at home within themselves through intentional movement and meditation. my classes meet students exactly where they are, inviting a calming of the mind, softening of the body and a return to presence.

over the last 20+ years of my personal yoga practice, yoga has helped me find my own rhythm and flow, and acted as a grounding force as i have moved through different roles and stages in life. i have practiced yoga as an avid athlete, a busy mom, an elementary school teacher, a coach of various sports, and now as a person living with a chronic illness.

i have always wanted to be a yoga teacher, and the last couple of years presented me with the opportunity to complete my 200-hour ytt. i also have additional training in yin yoga, restorative, and meditation.

with each class, my goal as a yoga teacher is to help guide you to calm your nervous system, to slow down your mind and to find your own rhythm, and to embrace the softness within, regardless of whatever life stage you find yourself in.

as a yoga teacher, i want my students to know that rest is not earned; instead, it is a necessity in order to heal, recover, connect with yourself to find the balance in your day-to-day life. i am passionate about helping people live their life with a calm mind, strong body, and happy soul.
