RESERVATION & payment

To reserve your place in the trauma-informed teacher training, taking place on august 22 and 23, 2026 you must submit your full payment of $275 + hst. this price is per person in cad.

refund & CANCELLATION POLICY

If you wish to cancel your registration, you must notify &asanas in writing at emilyc@andasanas.com. Once we’ve received your notice, cancellation will take effect subject to the following:

  • If cancellation takes place before july 22, 2026, any payments made would be refunded in full.

  • If cancellation takes place on or after july 22, 2026, all payments made will be forfeited and no refunds will be given.

  • refunds will not be given to students who fail to show up for the training.

training CHANGES

&asanas reserves the right to make any changes deemed necessary by our team, training leaders, or partners. In the event that we need to make a last minute change to any aspect of the training due to unforeseen circumstances (natural disaster, illness, civil unrest, death, closure or any other unforeseen circumstance) we will offer the following to our registered students that do not want to attend based on changes:

  • Transfer payment towards a future teacher training.

  • If the changes result in the training having to be cancelled altogether, entire payment made by the registered student will be refunded to the original method of payment.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF RISKS

Acknowledgment of Risks – Assumption of Responsibility

Although &asanas has taken reasonable steps to ensure safety, I acknowledge that this activity has risks, including certain risks which cannot be eliminated without destroying the unique character of this activity. The same elements that contribute to the unique character of this activity can cause loss or damage to the Participant including accidental injury, illness or in extreme cases, permanent trauma, disability or death and also can cause damage to or loss of property.

Throughout the training, participants are responsible for their own safety.

I (the training participant) acknowledge and understand that this training includes risks of injury or death to participants. I agree to assume responsibility for the inherent risks identified herein and those inherent risks not specifically identified. I acknowledge that participation in this training is purely voluntary, no one is forcing participation and participation is elected with full knowledge of the inherent risks.

I (the training participant) assume and accept full responsibility for any injury, death, loss of personal property and expenses suffered as a result of those inherent risks and dangers identified above, and those inherent risks and dangers not specifically identified and as a result of my negligence in participating in this activity.

Release and Waiver of Liability

DECLARATION OF HEALTH 

By accepting this Agreement I, the training participant, represent that I have no physical conditions or medical precautions which would adversely affect my ability to take part in the yoga teacher training. I fully understand that my participation in the yoga teacher training or other activities could be injurious to my health and I voluntarily assume all risks related to such activities.

PERSONAL RELEASE

By agreeing to the terms outlined here and elsewhere on the &asanas website I hereby release and discharge my rights and claims for damages or liabilities that may occur as a result of participation in a &asanas yoga teacher training, including but not limited to damages as a result of unexpected occurrences including those from weather, local political situations, wildlife or uncontrollable acts of God, including the risk of death. I release &asanas, including its owners, directors, contractors, guides, vendors, and partners from liability for personal injury, illness, emotional damage, incurred travel expenses, or property damage I may incur as a result of participation in this training.

For the benefit of everyone on your training, &asanas reserves the right to accept or reject any participant at any time without liability, and in the event it determines, in its sole and exclusive discretion, that a participant is disruptive to the harmony of the training, it may without any obligation to pay a refund or any other amount whatsoever, expel such participant from the training. &asanas will carry no responsibility or liability for any participant who leaves the training prior to its conclusion or for any activity undertaken by any participant that is not included in the yoga training.

PHOTOGRAPHY AND IMAGE RELEASE

You acknowledge that on your training there may be a photographer or videographer (collectively, “Photographer”). The Photographer will own the rights to the images, photos, and videos that he or she takes or creates during Your training (“Content”). You acknowledge that because the Photographer will own the rights to all Content, You cannot sell any Content or otherwise use it commercially. You can use Content for personal use only. If you display Content in a public form, including but not limited to a website, You must credit the Photographer by including his or her name and a notation that the Content is owned and copyrighted by the Photographer.

You hereby grant &asanas and its agents, suppliers, vendors, and similar third-parties, including Photographers, a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, re-use, distribute, display, create derivative works of, and reproduce any images, photos, or videos that you provide to &asanas (whether directly or through a photo sharing service) (collectively, “Your Images”) in any medium, including but not limited to print, electronic media, or Internet, free of charge and without Your right to inspection, for any purpose, including to promote and publicize &asanas yoga teacher trainings and services worldwide.

You also acknowledge and agree that &asanas or other parties, including but not limited to the Photographer and other participants in Your training, may during Your training take or create images, photos, and videos in any format that contain or feature You. These images may contain Your name, likeness, identity, photographic image, videographic image or oral or recorded statements. You agree that &asanas may use these materials for any purpose, including to promote and publicize &asanas yoga teacher trainings and services, and hereby grant &asanas a perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide, irrevocable license to use such images without Your prior inspection.

if you wish to be omitted from all photo’s and video’s please make sure to notify your trainer.

By submitting your payment and registering for this training you are acknowledging that you have read and agreed to the registration terms and conditions.
