motherhood means something different to each of us. this afternoon offers space to move, rest, and connect, and to be with whatever is there, just as it is.

we’ll arrive together with tea and gently settle into our bodies. from there, we’ll move through centering breath and simple reflection before transitioning into a nourishing yoga and pilates practice guided by breath and awareness.

there will be time to pause, snack, and connect before closing with a sound bath led by sara jane and a closing circle.

a simple space to pause, move, and be, both with yourself and in the company of other mothers.

join mikayla for this 75-minute guided breathwork session designed to be a space to slow down and reconnect with the body through sensation and expression. using breath, sound, and optional hands-on touch, this practice supports the release of tension and stress while bringing attention to what is happening beneath the surface. we will move through two rhythms of breathing to improve regulation and strengthen the connection between body and mind.

open to all levels, including those new to breathwork. the session will close with time for integration and optional community reflections. 

offered in the marble studio (non-heated). please arrive wearing loose, non-restrictive clothing and with a light stomach. optional journal or writing materials for personal integration. important note: this practice is not suitable during pregnancy in a group setting. more individualized support is required.

why sing for the girls?

girls born into poverty in India face severe disadvantages, many have little to no chance of receiving an education, and many are forced into child marriage. food for life vrindavan (FFLV)is changing this reality by providing access to schooling, safe transportation, meals, uniforms, books, and even a financial fund that each girl can use for higher education or a dowry (her choice).

our fundraising events over the last two years were incredibly successful! on saturday may 2, 2026 we’re raising funds to continue supporting devanshi, kanika, and shrishti's education for an entire year!

by supporting this event, you are helping break the cycle of poverty and creating a future where these girls have choices and opportunities…and at the same time, honouring the roots of yoga.

before the kirtan, there will be a silent auction in the zen lounge, 4:15-6pm. it is not necessary to register for the silent auction, but please register for the the kirtan as spots are limited.
